Getting Stuff Done

Alabama released “I’m in a Hurry (And Don’t Know Why)” in 1992. Does the title of that song describe your situation? If life seemed hectic and fast then, how much more-so today in our world of texting, instant messaging, and virtual meetings?! There’s always something to do, and we’re always trying to get it done!
We’ll be talking about “Getting Stuff Done” on Sunday mornings, throughout the next month. I pray this can be a time for you to examine and evaluate your priorities as we head into a busy, fall season together. Speaking of our fall season, our Wednesday night activities pick back up in September, which include our meal and studies for adults, as well as kids and youth.
As we celebrated 100+ volunteers and their families in August, we look forward to serving alongside new ones in the fall. If you have not yet done so, please pray about how you might serve on a committee or ministry team in the next year, and sign-up accordingly. We can’t “do church” without you, nor would I want to if we could. “Every member a minister” is what I believe God intends for his people, and there is nothing more satisfying than knowing that he is working through you, for his Kingdom.
I’m excited for how we’ll show, share, and grow in God’s love together, this fall!
Pastor Matt
